From 1982 to 2006 he was professor at the Centre de Sociologie de l\u2019Innovation (CSI) at the \u00c9cole nationale sup\u00e9rieure des mines in Paris and, for various periods, visiting professor at University of California, San Diego (UCSD), at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and in the Department of the History of Science at Harvard University. In addition to work in philosophy, history, sociology, and anthropology of science, he has collaborated on many studies in science policy and research management. He has published various books and articles, including:&nbsp;<em>Laboratory Life. The Construction of Scientific Facts<\/em>&nbsp;(Princeton University Press, 1986),&nbsp;<em>Science in Action<\/em>&nbsp;(1987),&nbsp;<em>The Pasteurization of France<\/em>&nbsp;(1988),&nbsp;<em>Pandora\u2019s Hope. Essays in the Reality of Science Studies<\/em>&nbsp;(1999),&nbsp;<em>We Have Never Been Modern<\/em>&nbsp;(1993, all with Harvard University Press),&nbsp;<em>Reassembling the Social. An Introduction to Actor-Network-Theory<\/em>&nbsp;(Oxford University Press, 2005),&nbsp;<em>On the Modern Cult of the Factish Gods<\/em>&nbsp;(Duke University Press, 2010). Together with Peter Weibel he curated the major exhibitions \u201cIconoclash. Beyond the Image Wars in Science, Religion and Art\u201d (2002) and \u201cMaking Things Public. The Atmospheres of Democracy\u201d (2005) at ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe, both accompanied by comprehensive publications with The MIT Press. In 2013 he received the Holberg Prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.randian-online.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/martin-guinard-terrin.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.randian-online.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/martin-guinard-terrin-528x508.jpg\" alt=\"03-martin-guinard-terrin\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Martin Guinard-Terrin<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Martin Guinard-Terrin is an artist and curator, with a background in History of Art and Fine Arts (Concordia, McGill, Central Saint Martins). He has worked at the Palais des Beaux-arts in Paris under the direction of Nicolas Bourriaud. He co-curated an international exhibition called\u00a0<em>Reset Modernity!\u00a0<\/em>at ZKM I Centre for Art and Media in Karlsruhe. The project was realised in collaboration with the\u00a0<em>AIME project<\/em>, under the direction of the philosopher Bruno Latour.
